Meet the Owners

Hillcrest Stables is owned and operated by Kourtney and Brandon Reals. Kourtney grew up locally riding off the track thoroughbreds and showing locally among several different show circuits. Kourtney has obtained her USHJA Instructor Credentials along with adding Hillcrest Stables to the successful list of Recognized Riding Academy names. Kourtney also gained an interest for the therapeutic side of riding where she was a therapeutic riding instructor at ARISE at the farm for over 2 years.  After graduating High School Kourtney pursued a career with the Air National Guard. In 2018 both Brandon and Kourtney had the unique opportunity to purchase a local farm that was just minutes from close family. After working full-time on top of managing and owning the property, Kourtney decided to take a step back and focus on running the farm full-time as of January 2022. While living on the property both Brandon and Kourtney are able to put all their energy into the property and all of its new improvements. While Brandon may not be physically teaching lessons or hopping on a horse for a training ride, his role in running Hillcrest Stables is just as important. There aren't many shows he misses and he is well versed in each horse that we have here on the property. Along with working countless hours on the farm each week he also owns and manages Hillcrest Hauling LLC. Brandon is a licensed Class A driver where he puts thousands of miles on the road each week.
